More About Ness

So this is for the special anon who asked for a bio. ♥

Hello there, I’m Vanessa Tolentino (Ness for short)
I was born February 21, 1995 so I am currently 17 years old.
I am 5’6.
I am born and raised in Toronto, Canada.

I currently weigh 147 (last updated July 26)
I used to weight 163.

I was such a skinny child throughout my Elementary School day up until summer of grade 1.
Summer of grade 1 I managed to get myself into an accident. Broke my left forearm managed to break in three different places.
As a kid I was a picky eater so I didn’t eat much.
Not because I chose not to, but because I didn’t want to.
I especially hated milk. HATEDDDDD milk.
I only liked drinking cold water.
Obviously drinking NO milk whatsoever caused me to have very brittle bones.
That’s my excuse to why I broke my arm.
I stayed in the hospital for a good 3 weeks, with 2 surgeries per week.
Up until this day my left arm is very fragile and I’m left with a scar that takes up pretty much my whole forearm.

In grade 2 when I was released from the hospital I was forced to eat my dairy products but I still hated milk, so my mom would give me yogurt.
Ever since then I started eating almost everything and gained a lot of weight.
I also had a growth spur.
In grade 5 I was probably already 5’3.

I honestly never had a problem with my weight in Elementary but once I got into Middle School that’s when I began to take notice of my weight.
I wasn’t insecure with the way I looked, dressed, or my weight but I knew I wanted to improve the way I looked, dressed, and weighed.

I started playing basketball in grade 5.
I was asked to try out for my school team because I had a height advantage.
From there I continued to play basketball.
In grade 6, Girl’s Junior Basketball team won the City Championship.
In grade 7, Girl’s Senior Basketball team won Conference Championship and were City Finalists.
Because we came so close to winning Cities the year before but didn’t, practices in grade 8 became more vigorous and serious.
We had practices during March break just so we were super prepared for the season.
In grade 8, Girl’s Senior Basketball team won City Championship and we were invited to basketball tournaments that had teams playing from outside the provences.

Without me even noticing I managed to drop 20 pounds. From 163 in grade 7 to 139 in grade 8.

I’m going to grade 12 after the summer break.
I’ve managed to gain weight again during highschool and my weight fluctuates between 149-154
I’ve continued playing basketball up until grade 10.
Grade 11’s first semester was too stressful for me to join basketball although they bothered me a lot about it.
Although I managed to join my flag football team and ultimate frisbee team.

Now that it’s summer, I’ve been going on early morning/late night jogs, doing cardio, working out and such and eating healthy in order to stay fit and healthy. :D

SORRY if this was more of a ramble..
